I have been with Iolcos Hellenic since 1999. I started out in the Operations and Safety departments of the Company until 2003, when the Financial Department was formed and I joined it. Since 2005 I have been the Chief Financial Officer of Iolcos and head of the Family Office. Prior to Iolcos, I used to work for Seatrade Compania Maritima, as assistant to the Safety & Quality Manager, responsible for the implementation of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. I have also gained valuable sea-going experience, by working as a trainee on board several vessels, both tankers and dry bulk carriers.

I am a graduate of the American College of Greece and I have a Master of Science Degree in International Trade & Transport from London Metropolitan University and an MBA in Financial Management from the University of La Verne. I have attended a multitude of training courses, mainly in shipping and finance, and I have also participated as a speaker in a number of panels and seminars.

I joined Iolcos Hellenic in 2001. At that time, I began my career in the Operations and Safety Departments. In 2004 I became the assistant to the former General Manager & Head of Legal. In 2016 I was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Iolcos Hellenic. Prior to Iolcos, I used to work as a trainee for Allied Shipbroking Inc.

I am a holder of an LL.M in Maritime Law from City University in London, UK and a Bachelor in Applied Mathematics, from the Athens University.

I also have the privilege of being the President of Symplefsi, a voluntary, non-profit organization whose objective is to offer free medical examinations and support the living standards of the inhabitants of the Greek most remote islands.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, sports and everything about the sea.

I have been working for Iolcos since 2001, and since 2009 I have been in charge of its Technical Department. I have more than three decades of experience in the maritime industry, having worked in various leading Greek firms which have bestowed me with excessive background in all functions and services of the shipping industry.

Throughout my carreer I have held key managerial positions throughout my career, such as a Fleet Manager, Deputy Technical Manager and Supervisor of construction and servicing.

My Alma Matter is the Manhattan College of New York, USA, holding a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. I am a member of the Marine Technical Managers Association, BUREAU VERITAS, ClassNK, LR and RINA.

My interests include skiing, cinema, diving, fishing and martial arts.

I am the Operations Manager of Iolcos Hellenic Maritime Enterprises Co Ltd. I am a former Master Mariner with an extensive experience in Bulk Carriers (King Post-Panamaxes, Panamaxes, Handymaxes).

Following my sea-going days, I continued my professional career in the shipping industry by working ashore in various positions (including that of Operations Manager) for private and publicly-listed Greek companies gaining valuable skills in Maritime Operations, Chartering, Ship Management, Marine Safety, Maritime Law and other fields. I graduated from the Merchant Marine Officers Training Center (KESSEN) with a Captain class A Diploma - Master Mariner and General Operator GMDSS and commenced my professional career on board General Cargo Vessels as deck officer and then with Bulk Carriers as second officer, chief officer and finally Master Mariner. In addition to the above, I am a graduate of the Athens University with a major in Shipping Management.

I enjoy following up on all the new technologies and developments concerning the shipping industry and the financial aspect of same.

I am the crew manager for the Iolcos Hellenic Maritime Enterprises Co Ltd. since 2015.

I am a Master Mariner and have been in the shipping industry since 2000, where I was an officer (including Captain) on board many types of ships, including passenger vessels, and Handysize, Panamax, Kamsarmax and Capesize bulk carriers.

I got my Officer’s training at the Naval Academy of Aspropyrgos in Greece (BSc Marine Science) and at the Merchant Marine Training Center (KESEN).

I also hold a Master’s Degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from the Cass Business School of City University in London, UK.

My interests include business reading, running and swimming.

I joined Iolcos in 2015. Before that and for more than a decade I used to work as a chartering Broker and eventually as a chartering and operations manager through various well-respected shipping and shipping related companies.

I hold a bachelor in Economic Sciences from the Athens University and an MSc from the Rotterdam School of Management.

I am an individual with heightened environmental concerns that appreciates nature through various activities like Scuba diving and mountaineering. Keen observer of current socio-economic affairs, always enjoying an interesting conversation

I have been with Iolcos Hellenic since June of 2017, in the Chartering Department.

My previous shipping experience in other Greek ship-owning companies was in dry cargo chartering, as well as in sale & purchase, were I facilitated the sale of more than 20 second-hand vessels, while taking delivery of more than 30 new-buildings from shipyards in Japan, South Korea and China. During my earlier non-shipping career, I was also involved in real estate management.

I hold a MSc in Shipping Trade and Finance from City University - Cass Business School in London, UK, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston University.

I love my sports. I try to practice my golfing, skiing, tennis, basketball and windsurfing as much as I can.

I have been working in Iolcos Hellenic since 2011. I began my career in the Operations Department of the company, and moved to Chartering as an assistant in 2014, later becoming a broker in the department.

Prior to that, I was a student at the University in order to complete my graduate and post graduate Degree while at the same time I used to work in the IT department of a governmental organisation.

I have a Master’s Degree in Management Informations Systems from Florida International University in the United States and I am also a graduate of the Department of Business Administration of the University of Patras, in Greece.

My interests include tennis, traveling and mountain skiing.

I am the Safety & Quality Assurance Manager of Iolcos Hellenic Maritime Enterprises Co Ltd.

My seagoing years on Container and Bulk Carrier vessels, as well as my shore experience at the HSQE departments of publicly listed shipmanagement companies before joining Iolcos, have provided me with valuable knowledge and proficiency. .

I graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Crete (Bsc in Nautical Science) and the Hellenic Merchant Marine Officers Training Center (KESSEN) with a Captain class A Diploma. I also hold a Masters Degree in Shipping, Transport and International Trade from the University Of The Aegean.

I am a member of the Hellenic Masters and Mates Union, The Nautical Institute, HELMEPA and AUSMEPA.

My interests include technology, motorcycles and traveling.

I joined Iolcos in March of 2011, first as an accountant, then as a Deputy Chief Accountant and, since July 2021, as Chief Accountant & Financial Controller.

Prior to that, I worked for 8 years for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Netherlands and in Greece, as an external auditor of shipping and non-shipping companies.

I am a Registered accountant, holding a bachelor’s degree in Economics, with distinct specialization in Financial Accounting and Management from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). I have attended a multitude of training courses, in accounting, auditing, shipping and finance.

I like pushing boundaries where improvements can be made and I take great satisfaction in helping others. I am socially conscious and a volunteer donor of blood and marrow.

My interests include basketball, cars, guitars and spear-fishing.

Since 2013 I have been the Insurance & Claims Manager of Iolcos Hellenic Maritime Enterprises Co Ltd.

I have been with Iolcos Hellenic since 1997, when I started in the Operations and Safety departments of the company up until 1999, when I joined the Insurance and Claims Department as an Insurance & Claims Manager Assistant.

Prior to Iolcos, I worked for a shipping agency where I gained valuable experience at various fields, such as operations, chartering, disbursement accounts and forwarding.

I am a graduate of the Athens University, Department of Economics and I have attended several conferences, seminars and training courses in shipping, such as Shipping Insurance Law and Coverage, Claims, etc.

My interests include dancing, reading books, exercising and music.

I am the IT Manager/Senior Systems & Network Administrator of Iolcos Hellenic since 1995.

Before joining Iolcos, I used to work as a computer programmer for companies in the private sector.

I hold a certificate in Computer Programming from a private college in Athens and Degree in Computer Science from the Hellenic Open University. I have attended a number of seminars on network administration, programming and web design.

My interests include attending online classes and seminars, robotics, reading and playing board games.
